Everyone experiences good and bad things in their lives. However, if a human is deeply hurt or affected by an incident, it's not easy for him/her to move past it or ‘let go’ of the same. Letting go or moving on is one of the toughest things that a human can do in his or her life. Emotional pain tends to stay for a longer period of time and eradicating the experiences felt by the trauma takes time. Moving on from emotional pain is a big relief to the human heart. However, it takes a lot of courage and will power to eliminate the trauma experienced by the individual. When you get rid of a bad experience, the learning you gain from it is more useful in the longer run than living with the pain for the rest of your life.

Pursue a hobby: Another way to let go of negative emotions is to pursue a hobby of one’s interest. Keeping yourself engaged keeps the positive vibes flowing simultaneously.
